about

This song was written after Your/Self 2008 was recorded and this is the only existing recording of this song to date. It’s a gospel tune so I thought it fitting to get the community choir I was singing with at the time to come help me out. It was super fun to work with them!

lyrics

Take me down to rivers edge
Lead me through the swiftest tide
Take my hand as we go in deep
See me through to the other side

Isreal (X4)

Bring me strength in the under toe
Bring me hope in the cold cold waters
Bring me peace when I’m tredding tired
Bring me safe to other side

Isreal (X4)
Come and meet me
Where the rivers wide

Take me down to rivers edge
Lead me through the swiftest tide
Take my hand as we go in deep
See me through to the other side

Isreal (X4)
Come and meet me
Where the rivers wide
