about

So many amazing people helped this album and this show come to be:

Mike Ritchie did all the recording of Your/Self (2008) at various locations, including his bedroom and after hours at studios where he was working post-production. He also recorded this show with two condenser mics in the room and then mixed and mastered it for this release 10 years later. What a champ.

Mark Bachynski dedicated hours of drum sessions and arranged and mixed Your/Self (2008) along with Mike Ritchie. His support was essential to this project and to my career in general. We are good friends to this day and will probably be making more music together in the future.

Phil MacKenzie played bass on every track and every performance and all with a big smile and grounding energy. One of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, it was a pleasure to work on this project with him.

Selah Koile, my sister by blood, friend by choice. She was always ready and willing to lend her incredible vocals to my project and has been my lifelong inspiration. She taught me how to sing harmony to Oh Happy Day when I was eight years old and we never stopped singing together. She is a huge gift to my life and I’m grateful for her role in this project.

Joyce Saunders and I met at the Agora church when I was 19 and then we sang together in Ben Ross’ Fabulous Band along with my sister Selah. She has been a steadfast supporter of mine and I of hers as she is one of the best songwriters I’ve ever heard. My years sharing stages with her are treasured.
